Icons are shortcuts to
frequently used facilities. The more abstract the concept the harder it is to design an
image. A printer is OK, but what do "30 days aged invoices" look like? (The
answer is that they dont look like anything - so any symbol will definitely need a
good ToolTip.) Technically, their design and size is
constrained by the colour palette, and button sizes supported by the operating system.
This is a collection of various icons, buttons and branding
logos designed for applications running under MSDOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95 and MOTIF: |
