In practice it is usually
programmers who will implement screens, without oversight by designers. A design standard
for this situation must fit the development tool and programmers capabilities. It
must be simple to execute.
The example shows how simple rules for use of colour, layout and font can create a distinctive look to an interface within the Windows 95 look and feel. Note that there are no icons or other graphical images that would require a graphics professional. This design was used as the template style used by DST International for their Hi Portfolio 2 product. |
